Our free virtual consultation helps us get to know you and your child, your needs, and your goals. We share how we can help your child and the next steps to start the relationship.
During the first session, we will identify your child’s goals and develop a plan to achieving those goals.
Treatment sessions will occur in the best setting for addressing goals (such as the community or home).
I am an occupational therapist and a healthcare lawyer with more than twenty years of experience helping people achieve a quality life. I believe that we, as occupational therapists, have an ethical obligation to provide clients with quality, effective, evidence-based services that are individualized and meaningful to them. Throughout my years of practice in occupational therapy and law, I discovered the existing medical and educational models do not address the 360-degree version of autistic people; therefore, failing to equip them with skills for developing a fulfilling life.

As children with autism mature, they are expected to maange their emotions. Learning to control emotions and regulate behavior responses is very empowering and builds self-confidence. Learning how to master the skill of self-regulation is difficult. It will take time, planning, effort, and consistency.
